Prodesina Journal accepts manuscripts in the following forms:
Research articles
Conceptual and theoretical papers
Cultural and humanities studies
Practice-based or practice-led design research articles
Literature reviews
All submissions must be relevant to the journal’s focus on design, humanities, culture, and the Indonesian context.
2. Language and Originality
Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English.
Submissions must be original works, not previously published, and not under review by another journal.
All forms of plagiarism, including textual and visual plagiarism, are strictly prohibited.
3. Manuscript Length and Format
Manuscript length ranges from 4,000 to 7,000 words, including references.
File format must be Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).
Paper size A4.
Margins set to 3 cm on all sides.
Font Times New Roman, 11 pt.
Line spacing 1.15.
Page numbering is required.

5. Abstract and Keywords
Abstracts must be provided in both Indonesian and English.
Abstract length ranges from 150 to 250 words.
Keywords consist of 3–5 words separated by semicolons (;).
6. Figures, Tables, and Visuals
Considering the nature of design studies, the following visual guidelines apply:
Figures and tables must be relevant to the manuscript content.
Image resolution must be at least 150 dpi.
Accepted image formats are JPG or PNG.
Each figure and table must include a number, title, and source.
If visuals are not the author’s own work, proper attribution and permission are required.
7. Citation and References
Citation style follows APA Style (7th Edition).
References should include only sources cited in the text.
Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
8. Manuscript Submission
Manuscripts must be submitted through the Open Journal System (OJS).
Authors are required to complete all manuscript metadata during submission.
The manuscript file must be anonymized for double-blind review purposes.
9. Review Process
All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process.
Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two reviewers.
Editorial decisions include acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection.
Authors are required to revise manuscripts in accordance with reviewers’ and editors’ comments.
10. Publication Ethics
Authors must comply with the publication ethics policies established by Prodesina Journal, including academic honesty, data transparency, and respect for copyright.
11. Publication Fees
Prodesina Journal does not charge submission fees or article processing charges (no submission fee, no APC).
Submission Preparation Checklist
All manuscripts to be published in Prodesina Journal must be submitted online through the Open Journal System (OJS).
Before submitting a manuscript, authors are required to ensure that:

The manuscript is an original work, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration by another journal.
The manuscript has been prepared in accordance with the journal’s Author Guidelines.
The main manuscript file does not contain any author-identifying information for the purpose of double-blind peer review.
All references are properly cited and listed according to the citation style adopted by the journal.
All figures, tables, and visual materials are of adequate quality and include appropriate sources or captions.
The manuscript submission process consists of the following steps:
Authors must register an account in the Prodesina Journal OJS system.
Authors must complete the manuscript metadata accurately and thoroughly.
Authors upload the manuscript file and any required supporting documents.
After successful submission, authors may monitor the manuscript status through the OJS system.
The editor reserves the right to return or reject manuscripts that do not comply with the submission requirements and author guidelines.
