About the Journal
PRODESINA: Journal of Indonesian Design & Humanities (JIDH) is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing design and humanities studies with a strong emphasis on the Indonesian context. The journal serves as an academic platform for disseminating critical perspectives, scholarly research, and design practices that view design not merely as a technical activity, but as an intellectual, cultural, and social practice closely related to human values, meanings, and societal dynamics.
Prodesina Journal publishes research articles, conceptual papers, cultural studies, and practice-based or practice-led design research that contribute to the development of design and humanities discourse. The journal encourages interdisciplinary approaches that connect design with the humanities, social sciences, technology, and social as well as humanitarian issues relevant to the Indonesian socio-cultural context.
The journal is published biannually, in January and July, and adopts an open access policy, allowing all published articles to be freely accessible to readers. PRODESINA Journal does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APC) or publication fees, reflecting its commitment to inclusive and sustainable knowledge dissemination.
